LASP's mission is to provide quality legal representation to low-income people, to empower them to solve problems without legal representation through legal education and increased access to the courts, and to change community practices and systems that cause or aggravate poverty.

Last year, LASP provided free legal services to 2,900 low-income Bucks County residents who faced the loss of their job, their home, their children, their medical benefits or their personal safety.

Because of Legal Aid, 680 adults and children received Protection from Abuse orders, 45 individuals remained secure in their housing and 74 were able to receive important income supports that included Unemployment Compensation, Social Security and other public benefits.

If low-income or otherwise vulnerable people do not have access to justice through legal representation, our justice system as a while is undermined. By supporting Legal Aid you do your part to make our nation's promise of justice for all a reality.
